Shoe Trends Summer 2016 to Buy

Are you shoe ready for this summer? If not don’t worry we have rounded up the best of the best summer 2016 shoe trends from the Fashion Week runways and E-commerce sites just for you. You will definitely find something that you will like as there is everything from sneakers to stilettos, loafers to mules and of course all types of sandals. I have definitely done a bit of my summer shopping for my clothes but I forgot to give importance to my shoes but I don’t think it is too late, but it is not too early either since the temperature has really risen in Delhi since the last few days. Now that I am up to date with my shoe trends I am going to get shopping and so should you because you definitely want your feet to be comfortable during the summer so check out the Shoe Trends summer 2016 to buy:

Block Heels

Now there’s a new style to love just as much for its practicality as well as feminine look, this season the block heels are going to be big. They might just be replacing stilettos and be the next walkable heel thats offers support while being easy to pair with all your outfits.

Flatform Sandals

A few years ago everyone thought that flatform sandals were the ugly and we didn’t think it would last long but this year it is back with a bang! All the new styles from this season will want you to have one and reconsider.

Gladiator Sandals

The Roman-esque sandal is not going anywhere this season. This popular shoe is back with a full range of styles, from short to tall and in-between. Rock this look with your short length clothes and show off your legs with these sandals.

Lace up Heels

Footwear labels and designers are indeed embracing a strappy message for the summer, while gladiator sandals are in trend they gave this tie up look to heels as well to give a dressy option. Now you can go out at night and be rocking two trends together!

Loafer Slides

Another comfortable trend, loafers are a great go to for this summer and this year loafer’s have become all the more comfortable by becoming slip ons.

Mules

Mules seem to be appearing for a second year in a row again and they are the perfect staple for the summer, and can be worn very easily during the day or night.

Platform Heels

As shoes are becoming chunkier by the day it can’t get more than platform heels. Make a statement with a pair of bold platforms that are decorated with stripes or pops of metallic.

Pom Pom Sandals

The perfect colourful summer sandals that will put you in a fun and vacation mood as soon as you put them on and they are available in almost all styles, whatever suits you best.

Sneakers

Possibly the most common look on the runway were the sneakers, a pair of laced up sneakers that can be casual and also dressed up. They are coming in all sorts of colours and styles and not just a plain white one.

I love all of these! I super enjoy that things like loafers and mules are back from Fall so I can rock the same shoes with updates looks for spring without having to spend any money. I’m also obsessed with block heels and gladiator sandals this season, though I admittedly prefer shorter gladiators than the ones that are trending right now. I’m sure they’ll grow on me but for now I’m going to keep rocking my ankle-height ones instead.
