Cold Shoulder Trend – Chic and Classy

Today I’m going to be giving you the cold shoulder – quite literally! It’s all anyone can talk about this summer, I go out and within 10 minutes I spot the cold shoulder trend one by one! A great trend that is definitely going to stick around this year is the bare shoulder fad. I bet you that everyone thinks that the shoulder is just a innocent top part of the arm however, fashion history proves that it is everything but that. It is known to be the perfect example of femininity and sex appeal and in my opinion this cold shoulder trend will always remain a true classic. The 80’s style is back with a bang and what I think is the best about this trend is that it is is universal, travel anywhere right now or check out trends from other countries this is one that you will find everywhere without a doubt! Someone like me, who is not exactly size 8 thin obviously had doubts with thoughts like my shoulders are going to look fat, how do I hide my arms, which angle will work best for a photograph! Oh the troubles some of us have at times, however once I gave it a try another thing I realised was that no matter what your size, there’s a cold shoulder style out there for you! It is a new bare-it-all-trend that is very much do-able and easy to pull off along with being age, body and style appropriate for everyone.
Cold Shoulder Trend – Chic and Classy
For me personally I think I have never given much importance to ours shoulders but backs yes I love bare, deep neckline backs! Coming back to shoulders, they definitely have power and I have come to this realisation that they are one of the sexiest parts of a woman’s body. Yes of course breasts and asses are great but sometimes giving a little subtlety and mystery can go a long way! Give it a try and feel relaxed, cool and ladylike.
I have quite a few casual off-shoulder tops but they don’t always work when you want more of a formal look! Isn’t it true that most of the time when girls go on dates the first thing they turn to is a dress, well that isn’t always the case with me because of my body type I don’t like to show off my legs too much.
While I was browsing several sites, I came across this soft pink cold shoulder top on Koovs.com and I thought this is perfect, it’s different from the fun, printed casual ones, it’s flowy and has a corset – just the perfect formal feminine look!

For this date night look of mine, I decided to pair this top with black trousers, black block heels, a silver chain tassel choker and smokey eyes! A complete bare shoulder with a nice statement necklace is all you really need and your ready to look comfortable, confident, feminine, stylish with the cold shoulder trend!
